A Delicious Guide to Dining Onboard Royal Caribbean Ships

Posted on 04/01/2026

One of the best parts of cruising with Royal Caribbean is the incredible range of dining options available across the fleet. Whether you’re craving a casual bite between adventures or a multi course gourmet experience, there’s something for every taste and style.

Complimentary Dining Favorites

Every Royal Caribbean cruise includes a selection of complimentary venues, starting with the Main Dining Room, where rotating themed dinner menus—such as Italian Night, Caribbean Night, and French Night—offer variety throughout the sailing. Guests can also enjoy breakfast, lunch, and occasional brunch here for a relaxed, sit down meal option.

For a more casual atmosphere, the Windjammer buffet provides global cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with ever changing stations. Other complimentary favorites include Café Promenade, El Loco Fresh, Dog House, and Sorrento’s Pizza, perfect for quick, grab and go bites throughout the day and night.

Specialty Dining for an Elevated Experience

Royal Caribbean also offers a range of specialty restaurants that take dining to the next level. Chops Grille serves premium steaks, while Giovanni’s Table and Jamie’s Italian deliver flavorful Italian classics. Fans of Asian cuisine can savor sushi, teppanyaki, and more at Izumi, a popular choice across the fleet. For an upscale evening, 150 Central Park presents modern American cuisine crafted with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Royal Caribbean continues to push culinary boundaries, especially on its newest ships. The upcoming Legend of the Seas will feature an impressive 28 dining venues, including new global street food concepts like Seoulmate (Korean bowls), Adobo (Mexican street tacos), and Cajun Kitchen, all located in the reimagined AquaDome Market food hall. Immersive dining experiences such as the Hollywood Supper Club and Royal Railway: Legend Station will take guests on theatrical, multi course culinary journeys inspired by history and world cultures.
